Team357 Codex Usage Utility for Mac Version 0.6.0 (build 8) | Public beta | September 8, 2026 WHAT'S IMPROVED This release adds manual, verified Mac update downloads and improves saved Codex sign-in recovery, weekly graph history, window resizing, automatic drive-row spacing, and installation controls. It preserves the rounded app icon, day/night themes, full and mini views, and user-controlled sharing. Weekly history uses actual saved observations. Dense readings retain the beginning and end of the week; unrecorded gaps and resets remain separate. Previously removed history cannot be recreated, and a short recording can appear as a dot. No simulated data is added to your history. INSTALL OR UPDATE Requires macOS 13 or later and a compatible installed Codex desktop app/helper signed into a supported account. A browser-only ChatGPT login is not enough. The universal app contains Apple silicon and Intel code. Runtime testing was on an Apple M4 Mac running macOS 15.7.3; Intel and macOS 13 testing remain outstanding. Expand the ZIP in Finder, open Team357 Codex Usage Utility.app, then choose Install and Open. A Desktop shortcut is optional. Use the installed Applications copy or its shortcut afterward. Normal installation preserves existing utility settings and history. Version 0.6.0 is the first Mac release with update controls. Earlier Mac versions need a one-time download from https://team357.com/utility-lab/. For future releases: Settings > Check for Updates > verified download > Show Download in Finder. Open that app and choose Install and Open. Nothing is silently installed. Windows and Mac use separate update feeds. CONNECTION AND REMOVAL For account connection questions, use Settings > Retry Connection. Confirm that Codex itself is installed and signed in. Local Mac readings work independently of the account connection. Missing data is not zero. Settings > Uninstall > Move to Trash preserves utility preferences/history by default. The separate remove-settings/history option provides a fresh start. Codex, its sign-in, and unrelated applications are not removed. FEEDBACK AND TRUST Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you're enjoying Codex Usage Utility and grateful for your ideas and support. Send questions or suggestions using the feedback form at https://team357.com/utility-lab/. Do not include passwords, private account details, or usage information you do not wish to share. This Mac beta is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or Apple-notarized. First launch may require approval, and managed Macs may block it. Keep normal security protections enabled. Do not bypass malware or damaged-app warnings. https://support.apple.com/en-us/102445 The utility does not upload account or usage readings to Team357. Manual update requests send ordinary web request metadata; see the Mac privacy details and beta use notice linked on the download page.
